Founder’s Message
At first, I also tended to see homelessness mainly in terms of individual choices and responsibility.
But as I spent time on the ground in Massachusetts, I came to see how often the loss of a stable life grows out of overlapping environmental and structural factors far beyond a person’s control. For that reason, this organization focuses less on judging or explaining people and more on offering the basic support and respect needed to help rebuild what has collapsed.
We try to see each person not as a failure or a statistic, but as an individual who can still choose, relate, and move forward. Ultimately, our goal is to help people live again as hopeful, free, and dignified individuals.
